Waterlase MD

For the first time in Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Waterlase MD – water laser of the American company Biolase, is available to our patients. This laser operates based on a laser beam that, in combination with water, creates hydrokinetic energy.
The laser for painless dental procedures makes visits to the dentist comfortable and free of ugly sounds, vibrations and pressure, which are one of the reasons for pain caused by a classical dental drill with minimum use of anesthesia.



This laser is used in all branches of dentistry (soft and hard tissues):
  • Cavity preparation (I, II, III, IV and V class)
  • crown and veneer preparation

When working with this laser, the dentist sets the laser strength which is placed above the working surface at a certain angle, followed by removal of enamel and carious lesion. Various additions are used instead of a drill, depending if the work is done on soft or hard tissues. During tooth fixing, specifically cavity preparation, there is no contact between laser and the tooth.
